Bing Crosby & Nanette Fabray - Hollywood Palace Medley

Bing Crosby and Nanette Fabray give us a musical history lesson and show that everything old is new again.
Apparently love duets throughout the years go something like this: cavemen uggs → "Greensleeves" → the minuet → opera → the Floradora Girls → Jeanette MacDonald & Nelson Eddy → "Baby It's Cold Outside" → discotheque uggs.

I have always loved Nanette Fabray, brilliantly talented and what longevity 92 and still hilarious as ever in interviews and sharp as a tack.

SO, SO much fun! My favorite part is the end, when he reprises the Caveman-come-Beatles/Sonny and Cher age of Rock and Roll, by knocking the wigs for a homerun with his Caveman club. I thought it was emblematic of Bing's feelings about the "New form" of music, Rock and Roll, the Beatles, etc....with wild gyrations, overdone instrumentation, and yelling, rather than singing. Bravo Nicoley for CONSTANTLY amazing me on the amount of Bing selections! God Bless you!
