It is a very old tune, telling about how the beloved one travelled to Bingöl and never came back, also contemplating about the plateaus and springs of Bingöl. The lyrics are written by Avetik Isahakyan, Armenian poet, by writing Bingyol, he meant not the current town in Turkey, but the Mountains of Bingyol, which are to the South of Erzrum, from where to river Araks starts. Isaakyan wrote this in 1893, back then there was no town of Bingyol in Turkey, it was called Chpacjur (Thin water in Armenian).

Ali Budak The song is written by Armenian poet Avetik Isahakyan. If you knew the words it would make sense. Its about a refugee from Bingol looking for the road back to home. It has nothing to do with Turkey other than the fact that the song is about the pain brought upon the Armenians by Turkey.
