I think the boys switched places because Xinxin is used to XiaoDing always on her other side. You can see her almost talk to Lin Yi but realized it’s the wrong person so she told XiaoDing. I’ve watched almost all of their LGiEF promotions and XiaoDing is almost always sitting or standing on the same side so she’s so used to turning to that side to talk to him.
