What’s the movie Despicable Me 3 about?
In the 1980s, Balthazar Bratt was the young hero of the highly successful series Evil Bratt. In 1990, after he suffered a puberty flare-up, the series came to an abrupt end. Vowing revenge, he becomes in the 2010s an extremely dangerous criminal. While he managed to seize the largest diamond in the world, Gru and Lucy manage to take the gem back from him but Bratt escapes. As a result, the couple is fired by the new director of the Lynx Vigilance Agency. Now unemployed, Gru is faced with the defection of the Minions, who were galvanized by Mel and thought his firing would allow them to become villains again. While everything is going wrong, he learns that his father has recently died (his mother told him he died at birth) and that he has a twin brother named Dru. Accompanied by Lucy, Margo, Edith and Agnes, Gru goes to meet his brother. Posing as the biggest pig farmer in the area, Dru is actually a mediocre villain, devalued by his late father and dreaming of doing criminal things with Gru. The two brothers hatch a plan to infiltrate Balthazar's HQ to retrieve the stolen diamond, but they are soon spotted by Bratt's robot. Meanwhile, the girls are taken to Hollywood, as Balthazar has just finished his giant robot.
