My father, growing up in rural Arkansas with a poor family, often provided squirrel so they could have some meat. As a result, I grew up eating fried squirrel - not because we had to so much as dad enjoyed hunting and preparing them. They're very good, a red meat with more fat than chicken - not gamey but just rich. Don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

Richard Feynmann was ridiculously intelligent. He was the only person to see the Trinity test without protective eyewear. He was in a pickup truck, and knowing the UV absorption of the glass was excellent, he watched it sitting in the driver's seat. His childlike fascination was shown after the test. Oppie thought "Now I am become Death, destroyer of worlds". Kenneth Bainbridge said "Now we're all sons of bitches". Feynmann's comment: "It makes clouds!"

Is that worse than them saying that in America they take jaywalking seriously? Because that was utter b*******. Or saying that Americans hide a pickle in the Christmas tree?
