I love me some NeNe, but she did it to herself.. I get how far others went to keep her off the show, but in their eyes, it was for good reason.. Every person she brought on the show ended up an enemy.. Somehow, she even rubbed her own fiends the wrong way, and often without remorse.. She did have a way about her that held the group together, but she also had her way of keeping the girls divided and cliqued up too.. I just think she realized how big she was and tried to play on the need for her presence on the show by acting out against people without punishment.. She started making her own money and even began treating Greg bad at times.. She even left him a few times.. Before NeNe changed her face and her entire personality, she was a very likable, relatively relatable woman of status that was greatly admired.. She went from Sheree to Kim, to Cynthia, to Phaedra, to Kenya, to Marlo, to Kandi and whomever else I missed.. Like damn, the whole cast feels some type of way about you and your low blows, so nobody wants to film with you and possibly be embarrassed.. It got toothed point where she had burned all her bridges and had no one to film with.. The sad part about it is instead of apologizing and being a woman about it, she doubled down.. Like that line she told Kandi, "I said what I said!" Like damn NeNe, you constantly made it hard for people to be around you.. The value she adds means nothing if she doesn't know how to maneuver and keep it.. She made great TV, but the world also watched her make enemies with every friend she had.. Maybe she's hurting from Greg's passing, then again, she grew nasty prior to that.. I just feel like she dropped the ball cause rather than being great and using the platform to elevate her career and do more with branding herself. She lost sight of the mission.. 😢

As for NeNe’s transformation, both physically and personally, that’s part of the process of fame. She had to adapt, and yes, that came with criticism. But as her status grew, so did the scrutiny. People became quick to judge her every move, overlooking the complexities of her personal life. The issues with castmates like Kim, Cynthia, Phaedra, and Kandi weren’t always as simple as NeNe “making enemies.” Each fallout had layers, influenced by different perspectives and shifting alliances. NeNe wasn’t always the instigator-often, it was a result of how she was treated or how others responded to her.
