Wow looks like a totally different city. Nowadays it feels like a ghost town with beautiful old buildings.

They wrecked many of the old buildings though. Boskov’s used to look beautiful and functional and of course today it’s a huge block with no windows. And it’s nowhere near the worst. Idk why they make Binghamton so ugly; it’s already miserable enough here as it is. At least we have some nice ones left though. You’re right, they are beautiful :)

Every city in NYS that so called Urban Renewal (H.U.D.) touched was destroyed including my own city to the North of Binghamton.

Binghamton use to be a thriving city decades ago. Ever since Endicott Johnson went to China and downsizing IBM, Binghamton has fell to the dumps ever since.

There needs to be a revival downtown. There is no real pull to go there, you see plenty of scabs walking around though
