Lighting Ash: Ram of War sounds like a fire movie title

I'm rooting for Monkey Ballers all the way. Great complimentary energy, great teamwork. Aggy is always a beast from the jump, very fast and aggressive, and CBD has the technical skill and patience to go collect the more unusual squares. His Sellia skip today was on point and I think if he hadn't stat dumped to int he would have pulled off a Malenia kill on top of the already decisive win. I think Cattery and BrinoMachino are going to be very good this season but Monkey Ballers is just more interesting to me. Glhf everyone.

I want to see them against brino. Gino plays on a different level right now, speedclears stuff like nothing. Looking forward to that matchup

Aggy played Gino really close in a majority loss in season 1 but then Aggy had a bad season two. I’m curious how the teams match will go, should be good.

It's so fascinating to watch this back after only seeing Aggy's stream. Both hearing the commentary remarking on Monkeyballers being in the driving seat during large parts of the match, as well as Zoom saying in the post-match interview that they were panicked and tilted, it's the exact opposite of how it felt seeing CBD and Aggy's perspective. Aggy getting shook by that messy Stormveil rush, together with CBD unravelling a bit in that late game phase were his weapon was failing him gave an impression that they just about clutched it out, while their actual play from an outside perspective (not listening to their comms) was super confident and savvy. It just goes to show how amazing players the two of them are, that they were able to perform and strategise as well as they did even while getting repeatedly thrown off balance. Big thanks to Domo and the rest of the team for the season so far, it's been so great to watch, especially seeing how well the format works after all the tweaking that had to be done in a truncated preparation period. I think y'all really nailed it, tbqh. One bit of feedback wrt the post match interviews: I wonder if a specific question for each of the teams might be a better way to start off the interview than the open-ended approach Domo's taken after these first matches? If Domo spends a few seconds before the interview setting up a specific question for the winner or loser, then blanxz will have the time to follow up with another specific question for the other team after that. Take advantage of the fact that there are two people on comms, instead of Domo waiting until the very end to have blanxz chime in. The post-match interview for this match was definitely the best one so far, though!

That Godrick's grab against Nepheli was so unlucky for Aggy, upgrading his weapon seemed like it was the good decision given the difference in damage, but RNG was the decisive factor in the end

Great matches so far. Very high intensity and fast pacing. Definitely is cool for us, the audience. I wonder how the players feel. Seems like its much harder for them to plan and guess, and also to share responsibility for the loss with the other player in the team.

Really enjoying the new format, just wish I had two devices and could somehow have one team on each 😂 Would love to have a bit more post match analysis, but understand that would involve a lot of work. Thanks for the work you’ve all put in to this, seems like this format is working great in terms of every match being very different and interesting.

Monkey ballers ultimately won due to better square selection lategame. Also Zoom did a double early rush and didnt get any advantage so they were behind lategame in damage would compounded the square selection issue further.

Why tf Aggy rushed GR square after Zoodle kill Godrick before him?
@akaimizu97809 ай бұрын
You can watch the video and hear what domo said to understand why
@ArkTonis9 ай бұрын
@@akaimizu9780 this reasoning is stupid because this square wasn't important at that time for Monkey Ballers. It was absolutely unnecessary risk. Restoring GR doesn't involve any random factors, so if your opponent goes for it before you (even 5 seconds earlier) he will mark the square first 100% of the time.
@lianmuller-tx9ng9 ай бұрын
The third row was too important to stop, I watched aggys stream and he and cbd said he should stilly try to get it bc if he didn’t got it they could have gotten a bingo almost directly
@ArkTonis9 ай бұрын
@@lianmuller-tx9ng3rd row was already blocked at that time, and there wasn't any other immediate treats. What are you even on about?
@darksniper1n9 ай бұрын
It's a very common thing in bingo, if you kill the remembrance boss first you hold off on restoring the greatrune so you can fight for more contested squares. Holding priority on a square that the other team won't go for. trying to snipe it when you are only a couple seconds behind and the enemy doesn't know you did godrick will often work, it's a small gamble but often pays out.
