I bet those who hate Bini are those who have not done enough deep diving to realize that these girls have the most honest souls ever, i will not say pure soul but honest. Their kumu lives is a big collection of hugs that you can replay whenever you feel down. They are so chaotic and high energy, it is so infectious. A big factor why they got people to love them is that because they are so real, they do not pretend. Its easier to connect to them because of their transparency. They are not scared of cancel culture, they are not aftaid to show their disappointment. They are not afraid to be vulnerable, and most importantly, they are not afraid to apologize and take criticism and learn. Also, they are so funny and ICONIC. I love them so much. I LOVE a lot of ppop groups and is such big fan of ppop in general, but something about Bini is so special.

The cat is LingLing. He's a stray cat that Aiah adopted in their Bini house. He was initially, for a short while, hidden from the management. Aiah even thought he was a female. That black cat is luck for them, he now stays with Aiah's family in Cebu. It's funny because a local Christian pastor accused them of witchcraft because suddenly they're everywhere...and they have a black cat! Hahaha, but Bini didn't suddenly appear everywhere, they've been doing self promotions for quite a while and nobody really paid attention. The girls worked hard and really built an organic fan base, they are very interactive with their fans.

Regarding your comment about Tagalog, it does make sense. A language that I would liken to it is Japanese. Tagalog and Japanese are both languages that are pronounced as they are written, and are usually made up of syllables with ending vowels. This makes the language really pleasant to hear as the sounds are very open due to these vowels. also why the Philippines have so many singers that belt, the language literally makes it so easy as your mouth would be open and relaxed singing the words

What did it for me was an old vlog by Alex Oh (BINI/SB19/general ppop fan) when BINI visited New York to do a busking event in Times Square. Alex was able to spend time and chat with the BINI members, and the way the girls gave him attention as their fan, was as if Alex was their leader and they were the ones looking up to him! It wasn't the other way around! The looks on BINI's faces as Alex was talking, was just pure humility and 100% engagement. So good-natured, warm-hearted, lovely girls!

Maloi's voice is usually the sound of Bini since her parts are mainly choruses and ad-libs. She has that emotion in her voice that can only be heard when she's singing. Also, she has the best runs when it comes to high notes. She always flawlessly switches to notes and has been consistent throughout their whole career. That's why she's one of the main vocals in BIni.

BINI is a revolution. Every single girl group that became mainstream in the philippines are always those that are overly sexual, and always has sexual innuendos. I'm so sick and tired of that. But now, every one is just happy dancing to Bini and being girly pop and wholesome. Everything in the philippines is so depressing and the rise of Bini feels like a breath of fresh air. This is the reason I love ppop. They have personality in their voices. The song feels alive. It has colors. I agree what you said about pantropiko that the songs will be nothing without them they are literally the song. This is the things that I feel lack in Kpop sometimes(not all though).
