Bin, two questions: 1. What would a few accidental dry fires do to the gun? In my case, it failed to load a round but fired anyway. 2. How many parts can be switched out and modified? Caliber changes? Barrel length? Tank choices? 3. If we can swap out parts, how do we know what will work and what won’t?

Bin, please screw a full air tank on the back and see if that regulated area still works to give consistent fps speeds.

Me too! I never dry fire anything by choice. When I got the S45, it did this weird thing where it quickly repetitively fired without loading rounds and so I also worried about possible damage. These aren’t inexpensive guns. So while I agree no one should dry fire it intentionally, a couple of unintentional dry fires shouldn’t harm a piece of equipment at this price point. I suspect that it could harm it if done to frequently cavalierly. So my point is, we’re probably good. But good to know. AM I CORRECT BIN? DO WE SERIOUSLY NEED TO BE CONCERNED? AFter all, Bin, it is occasionally going to happen. I think we are looking for reassurance. What would a problem look like Bin?

請問一下，上星期去曼谷靶場打靶，9mm格洛克及.45的1911還有S&W左輪，感覺後座力與想像中有差距。我看彈頭塗成紅色的，而且.38specail的彈頭還內縮在彈殼內，請問這是橡膠子彈嗎？或是有所謂的低火藥量子彈呢？

弹头红色可能是铅外边涂的润滑涂层 头缩到里边38是专门竞技用的平头弹wadcutter弹 .莫辛左轮也是弹头与蛋壳一样平 橡胶弹基本使用的是滑膛霰弹枪 每一颗子弹都有一个装填火药的值 最高安全火药重量一个最少火药重量高于有膛炸风险最少火药重量就是启动重量太低也不行 减药弹有可能是靶场自己复装的

@@小李飛刀的飛 你想的没错就是这样的 wadcutters通常装载工厂负载以低速射击，以最大程度地减少铅在枪管膛线中的沉积并将腔室压力保持在安全水平。因此，大多数工厂的 wadcutter 负荷以 900fps 或更低的速度射击，通常是全尺寸手枪的 700-800fps 和短管手枪的 500-600fps。这些弹药的低速显着降低了它们的后坐力。

@@dafu788 謝謝你的回答。剛剛看到一個外國小女孩打靶的影片，他用了一種紫色的子彈，盒子上面印有training match，我猜這種有色的子彈應該是訓練彈，目的是減低後座力及槍管磨損。而我去泰國打靶用的紅色子彈也許是泰國軍火商製造的訓練彈。

Bin, do you know of any 457 mold manufacturers that make slugs for the s45? If we get a slightly bigger slug, if we run it through the Lee 457 sizing die, will that make the slugs work flawlessly? Thank you for making this wonderful piece of weaponry Bin!
