안녕하세요 여러분 (,,･∀･)ﾉ゛hello everyone :)
Staying in Singapore for 7-8 years but was my first time visiting Bintan! It also marked my first visit to #Indonesia. Decided to visit #Bintan because the hotel is kinda affordable (at that point of time) and i had a 3 consecutive days off.
I'm holding a Malaysia passport so I didn't need a visa, as for my friend who are holding a Taiwan passport, the visa-on-arrival process was pretty straightforward too. Upon arrival at the immigration hall, you simply need to queue at the VOA counter, make a payment of S$50 or IDR 500K, and then proceed to join the arrival immigration queue.
In Bintan, the tourist attractions are kinda spread out and far apart, Grab (or other private hire services) are not widely available here. So we booked a driver + guide for 2 days. (DM me for contact details)
The Sand Dunes and Blue Lake were very beautiful and picturesque, and it's definitely a perfect spot for aesthetic instagrammable photos. However, I don't personally recommend visiting the Mangrove Forest though. While it was decent, but the price is expensive and I didn't feel the experience worth the cost.
Food at Kelong Ciuyong Seafood was alright but nothing fancy, just..... 中規中矩吧 😂 Vibe at Tidal Bar was great. I really enjoyed the tranquil #calmversation over there 🍸
