BioCNG and BioLNG decarbonize freigth transport (biomethane from straw)

VERBIO has developed a unique technology for the production of biomethane from 100% straw. This means that not only cars, but also trucks in long-distance freight transport get close to zero emission. The biomethane is filled up in gaseous form as BioCNG or liquefied as BioLNG. VERBIO will convert its own truck fleet of 80 trucks completely to CNG and LNG drives by the end of 2021 and refuel with biomethane from its own production. From mid-2021, VERBIO will also offer liquefied biomethane - so-called BioLNG - for truck freight transport at the German market.
