Kadambas of banavasi are pure south Indians. First native Dynasty of Karnataka. Kannada was their official language. King Mayura Verma fought pallavas and founded kadambas of banavasi dynasty so they are not from north indian. Also chalukyas of North are different than the chalukyas of vatapi (current Badami in Karnataka). Btw try to learn Mayura varma's (founder of kadamba dynasty) biography if you're interested because it's similar to Chandragupta mauryan biography.

Immadi Pulikeshi was a great emperor. His grand son Vikramaditya ruled even Afghan. Remember, the great Raja Raja Chola ruled entire Asian continent. But, unfortunately the great southern emperors are not given much importance. They defender the external attacks on Indian subcontinent way back in 5C. More R&D should be made to document these great truths. Start glorifying our own heroes....😍

Narasimhavarma attacked Badami and stormed into Pulakeshi II palace but Pulakeshi had died by then. For some internal politics, his 2 sons Chandraditya and Vinayaditya did not come to his aid leaving Vikramaditya to face the Pallava army, heavily outnumbered, Vikramaditya was forced to retreat out of Badami. The brothers united later, drove Pallavas out of Badami.

Mangalesha was the second son of pulakeshi 1.immadi pulakeshin was named after his grandfather.hence mangalesha is the uncle of immadi pulakeshi. In kannada immadi - second of his name. Mummadi - third of his name.
