Siddhant sir, I am your regular listener, your lectures are always very informative, but being a psychology professor, I would like to correct you a bit. with due respect to all things you taught, I would like to correct you on one thing, Freud is though quite popular, but not an official father of psychology, it is Wilhelm wundt, who had established first lab of psychology at University of Leipzig. Freud's work, is the first organized theory of personality, and a very relevant one, thus, quite respected, and all the theories that came later have some base in his work, if one gives due insight. So in every personality theories book of psychology, Freud is the first theorist we teach. You can read any psychology book, like by Morgan and king for your reference on this. Also, hysteria was supposed to cause due to repressed sexual desires, now in present date, it is known by the name conversion disorder. For this, you can refer theories of personality by Pervin, or by hall and Lindsey, or hjelle and Ziegler, and any abnormal psychology book ( sarason) for the change in nomenclature. Since your channel is for competitive exams, I believe it's important to make that correction, hope you do so in next lectures series. With best regards.
