Something has gone awry. Here in the San Fernando Valley ( Northern L.A.) we have had NO rain for 6 months and no mosquitos for years. But 2 weeks ago, suddenly there were swarms of biting Aedes species. Everyone in every house in our neighborhood has multiple bites. Same story in Fullerton, Newbury Park, Porter Ranch, Chatsworth distant locations. People remember the exact day they arrived. These mosquitos travel only 650 feet from hatching area. So, the vector patterns are inconsistent with observation. WHO released millions of Aedes females?

The people of England went to the streets protesting Monsanto and GMO's. Monsanto said, "I do not know what your problem (to the people of England) is, Americans have been eating GMO produce for over 5 years." We had no idea! We heard that Monsanto found a way to increase productivity of food and were using it to feed the hungry in Africa. Japan said, "we will watch the children of American." And did not allow Monsanto into Japan. This was 20 years ago. A woman in India fought Monsanto because of the Round-up. Those people were promised more produce and bigger profit. But they soon found out that using the other products like round-up proved too expensive to make the profit that was promised. What they call gullible ..... we call trust. IS THERE ANYTHING OUT THERE TO BE TRUSTED...... Time to get back to our roots. In God we Trust ...... appears the world is in trouble in many many ways. ......THERE IS AN ENDING ......CAN YOU SEE IT !!! CAN YOU FEEL IT !!! We are surrounded by darkness .... it is not fake news .... it is no news. I was never bothered by mosquitoes over 60 years .....guess the Texas GMO mosquitoes are in Oklahoma ....I am being attacked as never before!!! I love good science, but many can make things worse. EDUCATED IDIOTS !!! My father spoke these words when I was very young ....more than once. Now I am well aware that these words are very true. We put too much on theory. Now, a team of independent researchers analyzing an early trial of Oxitec’s technology is raising alarm-and drawing fire from the firm-with a report that some offspring of the GM mosquitoes survived and produced offspring that also made it to sexual maturity. As a result, local mosquitoes inherited pieces of the genomes of the GM mosquitoes, the team revealed last week in Scientific Reports. There’s no evidence that these hybrids endanger humans more than the wild mosquitoes or that they’ll render Oxitec’s strategy ineffective, both the paper’s authors and the company agree. “The important thing is something unanticipated happened,” says population geneticist Jeffrey Powell of Yale University, who did the study with Brazilian researchers. “When people develop transgenic lines or anything to release, almost all of their information comes from laboratory studies. … Things don’t always work out the way you expect.”

Yes I was just chatting with a friend tonight. For whatever reason they have only just now reached the epidemic proportions here in San Diego. Don't know if it's been mentioned on local news or if the public is aware. God knows ppl are so confused these days. Damn one just need me as I'm writing this. Anyway was saying to my friend damn mosquitoes are like I haven't seen in the twenty two years I've lived her. The most his I've gotten in a summer was maybe five total. And that was from the only two I had seen. Then I stated how bizarre I thought it was, that the weather was no different than in last year's and how we've had no rain. Yes it's my opinion that something malicious is at play. The elite don't just talk about population reduction like they are gods they are fully engaged in it and have been for a long time. But to know the real agenda or need look no further than what is believed in the end of days by the books of Jewish doctrine. Mutually validated by the protocols of the learned elders of Zion. If you can find anything about it that they havent corrupted. It's like they say want to know who owns you? Who can't you criticized in any way? I guess we'll all be getting the vaccine one way or another. Seriously it is safety cause I know they have been interested in weaponizing in a specific genetic code or sequence meaning the mosquitoes would only bite a certain type of ppl.

They're apart of this world just like we are and i don't think people should just wipe them out for our own benefit because there're organisms out their that depend on mosquitoes also. This will create a chain reaction haven't we humans killed off enough organisms as it stands? why don't we find someway else to deal with the problem.
@homeyjeromy6 жыл бұрын
Its estimated that Mosquitoes have killed half of everyone who has ever lived by transmitting diseases. That's over 50 billion people in human history, and over 1 million are killed per year in modern times. They also spread diseases in other mammals as well so humans are not the only ones being effected. At worst it will hurt the population of some spiders, and hardly anything relies on mosquitoes as their only food source, so it's unlikely to drive anything extinct. Yet even if it does, it's a hell of a better price to pay than the price we are paying now. If you lived in an area prone to transmitted diseases, I guarantee you wouldn't be asking anyone to save the mosquitoes...

That's not true, males do not transmit disease because only the female bites other animals. They're releasing essentially sterile males into the wild which will mess with reproduction and hopefully decrease the population with the decrease of offspring since they'll die before reaching adulthood. The females themselves are only at maturity to reproduce (and unfortunately spread disease), but if they cannot do that because of blank shots from males that should help to decrease the amount of dangerous diseases. These creatures are nothing but pests and this is a big step to help us not harm.
