Hi Sir! I got error in last line of your code. biometricPrompt.authenticate( getCancellationSignal(), mainExecutor, authenticattionCallback ) I got error at getCancellationSignal(). I' have also shared error line below. Type mismatch: inferred type is androidx.core.os.CancellationSignal but android.os.CancellationSignal was expected

Fixed it. If anyone experiences the same issue, you must write val btn_authenticate = findViewById(R.id.btn_authenticate) as Button before you write btn_authenticate.setOnClickListener...
