2:7:31 mam in phospholipid str. In the choline group only 1 H from OH and another 1 H from CH3 coming out it means only H2 coming out ...then what type of bond it is mam ...can u please tell me
@NACBiology3 ай бұрын
In phospholipids, the choline group has a hydroxyl (-OH) and a methyl group (-CH₃). When the choline group connects to the phosphate, it loses one hydrogen from the hydroxyl and one from the methyl, forming a bond. The type of bond formed here is a phosphoester bond between the phosphate and the choline. This bond is a result of dehydration synthesis, where water is removed (in this case, two hydrogen atoms). So, you have a covalent bond formed, linking the choline to the phosphate group.

3:4:12 mam valine also neutral only know mam ...you have given 3 examples of neutral Amina acid that is alanine ,valine , and glycine then why not (a) option
@NACBiology3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the correction. Yes, valine is also neurtral so both option a and c is the right answer. Serine is classified as a polar amino acid, not a neutral one

@@Bhavish-zm5fj That is CH2 only. But to show the number of carbon atoms, I have written 5 there. Actually i have mentioned that ,it is 5th carbon atom . It's not C5H2.

mam you said only right handed helix form protein ...but now you are saying 3:52:20 both left hand and right hand can observe....I didn't understand please explain difference mam

please mention the timings where exactly i told "right handed helix form protein". for this question answer is right.

@@VidhyoshaPerumalla Yes, left handed helices are very very rare in nature less than 1% . And no biological functional protein occurs in left handed helix form. Therefore in general we say like that. But. When question comes, both right and handed and left handed, then you can go for both. But when question asked biological functional protein which selected by nature are in which form? Then stick on to only right handed helix.

Mam,how many nucleotides per one turn of DNA double helix?
@NACBiology2 ай бұрын
One complete turn of the DNA double helix consists of about 10.5 base pairs. Since each base pair consists of two nucleotides (one on each strand), there are approximately 21 nucleotides in one turn of the DNA helix.
