I've got a gigablade with radioactive damage and a perk that heals me for double the damage I deal killing an enemy. crafted it to 7 stars at character level 25 and it is a beauty. first playthrough

Been playing since day one release & what I can tell so far...always scrap the pieces you’re not gonna use. I’ve bought barely a handful of things from the shops. While I haven’t found a single shop that sells e-waste scrap which is what I always need.

Another tip. There is an NPC hamed Honki. He is rare gun parts vendor. Load and save to change his inventory.

I used outfits for a blazing gloves set and resistance sets. It seem like at level 35 or so I am resistant to all the elements.

since mobs have a chance to drop crafting materials, they should have implemented respawning mobs. It makes the world a lot less empty when you have defeated all of them and makes the crafting/upgrade bench a lot more feasible. Also increase the materials cap from 99>at least 300 or max 999. I'd sink more hours if I could actually experiment with a lot of weapon combinations and fighting more mobs without moving to new game+

I always dismantle the best weapons and rebuild them with the best parts I have..you can make the ultimate weapons you pick up even better.. it takes some scrap though

i tried a couple in past and i think they share a lot with survival, huge maps, crafting and such but its such a saturated market, i have got more contacts at ubi then i used to tho now so might be something i try, more likely to give dying light2 ago tho!

Any idea why i cant craft anything im about 6 hours in and i dont get the craft option?

I can only guess but here goes. You don't have the necessary parts to make a complete weapon, so for melee weapons that would be a blade or crush base and a handle as a minimum. Ranged weapons require a base, grip and muzzle if i'm not mistaken. You simply overlook where the craft section is, (i forgot where it was and took me a solid day to discover it again) it's in the gear menu and one click to the right (depending on what system you play on, example, om ps4 it's R1) when you click on main hand there should be an option to craft a new melee weapon and if you click to the right (again depending on the system you play on) you should go to the ranged weapon crafting/modifying section. If it isn't any of these.. then i can't help you sorry. Hope you find a solution to this.

you can get liek 10 star weapons eventually! focus on a gun, as it allows teh extra modules ya need then look for parts that will boost it, not always rarest but how much damage it does!

You can buy miscellaneous items that are ment to be dismantled and under the same sub category you can buy scrap from certain vendors so probably best to learn the system before you make a half complete guide.
