The revamp continues on as we move to another classic and beloved game of the NES library, Bionic Commando! One of Junko Tamiya's greatest works on the NES, of all her compositions these have remained some of the most beloved and memorable of her career, due to the sheer catchiness and perfect mood matching these tracks bring. Junko Tamiya being a true underdog of a composer whose work should continue to be praised, songs such as the "Bionic Commando Theme", "Leap of Faith", "Heat Wave", and "Power Plant" being some of the most iconic tracks Tamiya has composed and arranged to the NES soundchip! Her renditions of the two tracks from the Arcade originally done by Harumi Fujita are fantastic, and the rest of the original composed material for this soundtrack is stellar, all with Yoshihiro Sakaguchi's sound driver tying it all together nicely. Capcom took this game to epic levels with what is essential a souped-up Commando, which this game was advertise to be a sequel to. With unique gameplay of not being able to jump, your grapple is key to the success of this game, along with all the fun shooting and exploding action Capcom brings! The graphics are wonderfully Capcom and the music stands as some of the best on the system. It's still regarded as one of the best NES games for a reason, give it a play if you never experienced this classic! :)

It, coupled with great stage design, added a lot of puzzle elements to it.

Quite possibly my favorite NES soundtrack. I loved it so much I used to record it on cassette tape so I could hear it when I wasn't playing my NES. Thank you for uploading. :)

Absolutely one of my favorite NES games ever made. My favorite track here is Heat Wave. I’ve always thought even as a kid that track was such a vibe. The entire OST was great though, and so was the game. It was hard to get good at it as a kid but I finally beat it when I got older. Was not expecting to see non-hitler’s head exploding at the end lmfao.

I'll talk about the person I met when I was young... 0:00 In 198X we've found the Badds' top secret material called Albatros which was never put into practice. 0:14 Imperial Force's Generalissimo Killt has seen the plan, and decided to execute the plan himself. 0:24 The Federation tried to stop his attempt by sending our hero Super Joe. But lost contact with him. One brave man was sent with a special mission... to rescue Super Joe. The story begins...

I was listening to Hear Wave as I read these comments. It's a great song, but I do agree with the stage 1 song being a more iconic song.

Leap of Faith and Heat Wave are fantastic compositions on this soundtrack and some of my favorites on the NES. I love Junko Tamiya's style more than Harumi Fujita's style. Her work on Street Fighter 2010 I consider her most sublime work.
