Hi, We KNOW that this is different from the original. But this is not a reboot - It's a tribute. And we're forever happy and grateful that LEGO recognize Bionicles existence. We made a follow-up video to this one, about just that - Watch it here ❤ kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYG0coqIadiKbKM&t And remember: people from LEGO might read these comments, so instead of writing "the new one sucks" or "this is a downgrade", be constructive and write what you like or don't like about it, and what you wish for the next one. And thanks for all the positive feedback. More videoes are coming soon :) Wishes and ideas for new videos are appreciated. lots of love CPH Rig-Team

I can't stress how much these Bionicle's meant to me as a kid. my single dad was broke in the 90's, he would take me to hamley's in London just to play with the display toys and have the magicians show tricks and amaze me as a kid. I remember asking him to buy me one as an early birthday gift, he gave in, and i was the happiest kid. i had 3 or four of them by the end and used to love Frankenstein-ing them, was so much fun. Thank you Christian for giving me this joy as a kid. meant the world to me in a lonely upbringing. Bionicle's and the small soldiers toys where where my absolute favourite. i hope this revival brings kids the same joy it did to me.

my entire childhood revolved around bionicle. Growing up in a lower class rural area, it was the perfect gift and hobby because every $10 set added more and more to what you could do. It was all i ever wanted for any gift, birthday, Christmas, anything. And growing up without internet, it really helped me develop my creativity and mechanical knowledge. When my collection grew large enough, i began making larger scale fully articulated creatures, my best being a 40 pound humanoid that could stand under its own weight, was fully poseable, when i was 7 and i figured out how to make the joints work completely on my own without internet. Thank you Mr. Faber, your work inspired a generation like me into mechanically minded fields.

I loved BIONICLE so much as a kid. I was 8 years old in 2001 and fell completely in love with the world, the characters, the comic books! I remember waiting at my window for the mailman to come early in the morning, just hoping for the next issue so I could get back to Mata Nui. I still have such deep, nostalgic feelings for it all. Nothing compared to building the Toa from the canisters and creating stories with them in my bedroom for hours. Kopaka was always my favorite. I still think a passionate, high-budget, cinematic take on the original BIONICLE story would be beautiful and compelling: Tahu falling from the sky and building himself on the beach, finding the other Toa and searching for the masks, meeting the decrepit Matoran Makuta at the end in a subversion of expectations to set up for a sequel... I hope to see it happen someday.

Something I seriously want to see is the story and character designs for the dinosaur Bionicle sets that we're meant to be in 2009 before it got cut short. I feel cheated that the dinosaur planet didn't happen first because dinosaurs, dragons, Kaiju (like Godzilla and Ultraman monsters), and robotic life forms are my top favorite creature types for media. Please show us any dino and dragon-like Bionicle concept art, prototypes, and story stuff we haven't seen. Bionicle stuff also makes me cry from nostalgia and how powerful of a soul it has! Thank you so much for working on this series, I'm delighted to see Tahu return! Maybe as an idea, make official designs for story characters we don't yet have out of existing pieces, so that we can make them and have new official sets, even if they never released in stores!

Bionicle was one of the first lore heavy series I ever got into. Even before Narnia and Lord of the Rings. Much of my childhood was spent with legos, but the dearest and most precious moments of those times were when i was building bionicles, either as described or making my own creations by combining various sets such as my visorak with a vhaki to creat a wolf-like warrior to much, much more. To see Bionicle, the true bionicle, end, was, to me, the first clear sign that my childhood was ending and a new chapter of my life was over. But, even when I’m old and grey and one foot in the grave, I’ll always have the fond memories of playing with the sets, reading the comics, and enjoying the movies. Thank you, sir, for a grand childhood.
