No, it is not normal, but it is because of Windows. I bet you are using the mobo on a Windows which was previously installed using different mobo. You need to reinstall Windows and then it will work normally.

Hi, I have the same mother board. I buy a core i7 4790k ? if i do overclocking it is necesary have more Hz in RAM? I'm new on the OC, but in the specifications of the board says that only accepts 1866Hz max. Could you please help me wit this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Igot this mobo with 4790k and fresh install of everything. Everything looks fine but now when I restart the system just the asus logo come up and nothing happened. Any idea? Best

+Attila Kovács Try resetting the BIOS and if that doesn't work, diconnect the drives and try to swap the DRAM modules

+Jorge Vazquez you can't use same settings for different components. Not different models, but different pieces, as the behaviour could change dramatically.

It got me 4.66GHz on an i7-4770K perfectly stable, so I guess it is pretty good.
