counter18591 When going in another menu from the Gamecube's main menu, the sound does not pitch bend. Which means that it's a sound sample being affected by pitch bending. The sound when going back to the center of the Gamecube's menu uses the same sound sample.

How do you corrupt the bios? Do you just add/remove text to/from bios file?

+Christina Andwena It's a bit more complicated than that. You open files a program called "Vinesauce Rom Corruptor" and there you change the start byte, the end byte and which bytes to corrupt. Then you open the bios/rom in an emulator and see the results. Most of the time it'll just crash though.

You d̶o̶w̶n̶l̶o̶a̶d̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶a̶ ̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶s̶i̶t̶e̶ have to dump it from a real Gamecube. It's a very complicated process. I'm not gonna tell you how to do it here, but you will need an Ethernet Adapter, SD Gecko and an Action Replay disc.
