Great Vid, thank you. Just a thought, after you had removed the password reset jumper then rebooted computer to check that it was successful, you then shut down and removed AC power cable. Best practice is to hold down power switch to "bleed" and residual power from the internal capacitors prior to re-connecting the password reset jumper. This was my IT training. Best regards Pat

I hope it works on the 5260, good that i watched this video i would have put the jumper on the pins next to the pwd jumper :) like cmos reset

Will this work for a Dell AIO 3464? If so do I type a new password in the bios screen or after restart.

Hello, I did a video for the Dell AIO 9030 some time ago, the process was similar. It was more time consuming to remove the cover. When you reset the BIOS password it wont show up again…..unless you setup a new one. Hope it helps Thanks for the comment
