Elizabeth gave fontaine the magic words, so he could use them against the protagonist of the first bioshock, and in the end he killed atlas/fontaine with the help of the little sisters who then got freed by him. This means that Elizabeth indirectly doomed Fontaine and saved her own little one.

And the scene I hate the most is where Elizabeth had to die! I disliked Fontaine at first when playing Bioshock (1), but now I hate him! Poor Elizabeth, well at least perhaps in one universe Anna still lives with her father, Booker, without ever becoming Elizabeth of Bioshock. That would be so beautiful! It's kind of confusing to me as well, but the way i understood it was the elisabeth from the main game is the elisabeth we see in burial at sea, and it is just her breaking the rules. though im not sure about the one we see in this episode.
@waynet54017 жыл бұрын
There is an Elizabeth Prime, the Elizabeth we see throughout Infinite, who travels to the land of Rapture through a tear to kill Comstock in Episode 1. Elizabeth Prime's body in Rapture died but she moves on to another world but leaving Sally haunts her so she returns to this Rapture and sets off the events of Bioshock 1. There are numerous amounts of Elizabeths in other dimensions but the one we see is just Elizabeth Prime. The only actual time when we see other Elizabeths from other universes is when we see a bunch of Columbia Elizabeths at the end of Infinite and when we see Old Elizabeth from the alternate future where she destroys New York.
@Ixl20167 жыл бұрын
How could there be more Elizabeths at Rapture, if the Elizabeths disappeared after Booker allow them to drown him at the end of Bioshock:Infinite?
@waynet54017 жыл бұрын
Prior to the last Elizabeth we saw each Elizabeth fading away with a key of the piano. But the last key note, we dont see the last Elizabeth fade away and it goes black, leaving us unsure if that Elizabeth even disappeared. However, we're hinted earlier on by Booker stating that the Elizabeth that he sees isn't actually HIS Elizabeth but rather an alternate reality Elizabeth. Either way though, Prime Elizabeth exists outside the confines of logic, space, and time because of the anomaly that she has her body existing in two parallel worlds, thus giving her her powers. As long as she has her powers, she is essentially immune from the consequences of the space-time continuum.
@jameesantos11207 жыл бұрын
Think of it as like The Flash traveling back in time to prevent his mothers death because it haunts him. The outcome may be different yes but because he broke the rule of time travel the outcome of that choice is uncertain. Elizabeth decided to go back and save sally. However because she already died there her current fate is unknown until the end of the game and thus making it her fault for bioshock 1

No, she knew that it would end in her death. She still went ahead and done it. She wasn't happy. Revenge got her nowhere and she knew that too. After Booker's death, she was lonely and miserable. So she decides to kill the last Comstock and free all the little sisters as one last good deed before she died. She was fed up with living. Paris didn't make her happy. She had no friends, no family, a terrible past, and no future. She saw all of that. And the only person that made her happy was gone. Near the end, she finally remembered why she "sent herself to the slaughter." So, she traded omniscience and "happiness" to finally be with Booker. It was suicide, and she welcomed it. 58:25 Yeah Atla's is quite horrifying. But what psychopath isn't? They're human beings fully realized. The perfect predator. Can't be touched. Can't be reasoned with. He will get what he wants by any means. Also never forget, psychopath doesn't always mean insane. Insanity tends to be mistaken with lack of empathy or none at all. And is technically a legal term not a medical one. And the word gets thrown around as easily as the word "genius". I'd call insanity losing touch with reality, be it consciously or incongruously. If he's speaking sense and is grounded to reality, he's technically sane. Could call it "super sanity" with the way psychopaths are. Bored easily, and always seeking a distraction. Hence Atla's keeping up with medical journals, even though he has no interest in being a doctor. Knowing for the sake of knowing. Psychopathy is like genius, if you drove really fast and have no interest in slowing down and then eventually crash. Lack of fear and being overly ambitious tends to be they're downfall most of the time.

The bioshock series is one of thoes games i gave up really badly, after seeing this ending i just couldnt help it anymore. It literally made me cry for years but seeing how Elizabeth is dead and their wont be anymore bioshock games. This game possibly had the saddest ending ive ever seen which is just as sad as ANIME, yes you heard me this game had a depressing ending just like AOT and i love AOT too bad im replying to this after forgetting about the game then remembering right now. Remember Elizabeth, Booker, and Sally will always be remembered!!

Aw, great! Now I've gotta play Bioshock 1 all over again and root through all the audio logs to find some more connections! (I'm not complaining. I've played it through about 8 times.)

Lmao I still find it hilarious how the beggining was basically an old Disney movie just to later go back to the disfigured motherfuckers trying to kill you

There are some weird ass flops there. If she can see behind all doors, how could she not see that she would be killed by that big daddy? She could just teleport the damn thing to oblivion, just like she did with Songbird, instead of screaming "stay away" like a little bitch from a slasher movie, she is better than that. How could she open a tear to Columbia if it just stopped existing when she drowned Booker in the ending of Infinite? I think, since the creators of the game were closing the studio, they chose to close the Bioshock franchise in a circle, by any means necessary.

Is it a never ending thing? Like is there a reality where rapture never had civil war? A reality where booker and elizabeth go to paris instead? A reality where elizabeth is still alive?

This dlc transformed bioshock into woke garbage. It didn't fix anything it ruined it. -Made all male characters, even scientists, incredibly dumb and conveniently predictable. -Retconed all female characters so they have the best of intentions and no flaws and do bad things only when they don't have a choice. Dlc came out when this woke trend started to change everything in the entertainment business and I am glad I didn't buy it and know anything about it until recently, now that all this woke trend is at free fall. Also I really don't understand the people who say it connects and fixing the plot actually it creates more plotholes. The point was for Booker to be drowned before creating Comstock so any outcome, Comstocks, worlds-universes and Elisabeths that was created will disappear and that's why all Elisabeths disappeared. The only way for Elisabeth (Anne) to exist at it is implied is if Booker never went baptizing in the first place but then she wouldn't have special powers she would be a normal girl with no connection to Rapture (Columbia wouldn't exist in the first place). And ,suddenly, a Comstock escaped? How if he was neven created? It ruined the whole plot and point of original infinite storyline and the sacrifice of Booker and Elisabeth too. They learned to love each other but they chose to sacrifice all the versions of themselves because they wanted to spare the world from the worst versions of themselves. And now it's like all this was not honest afterall because some version will still live etc.

Okay, so that WAS the final Comstock. Now, what I don't understand: How WAS there one more Comstock at all? I thought the point of the main game was to destroy every chance for there to be a Comstock at all. I don't quite get the logic of endless alternate timelines being created while still affected by the source timeline overwriting one another anyway, but the DLC added a whole other layer of confusion for me.

None of it makes sense; It's all mind tricks, it's fun the game & the storyline, it makes you think imaginary theoretical outcomes but all of it is illogical and it doesn't confirm with reality.

Like the Flash f*cking with the Timelines, so does Elizabeth. There are many possibilities. It's like Schrodinger's, one time they lived and one time they died. Cause we never know.

57:35 -- Is this an alternate reality where Elizabeth actually makes it onto the plane and promptly lobotomizes herself??? we know she dies at the end and really isn't on the plane (at least in this reality) but why else are the lobotomy tools with her? I like to believe in another universe Atlas lets her live instead of beating her... and just like in the other failed universes where Elizabeth did something wrong... one of those doors ended up with her wanting to shut all the doors.... manually.
