9:03 I totally disagree. A full power Devil's kiss is the best thing to have towards the end of the game when there are bunch of enemies. Emporia, Siren fights, the bank, Comstock house, command desk, vital on all of these. It's the only vigor that's suitable as a primary weapon, and can drain strong enemies power on it's own. Especially handy with the lunatics. Combined with "blood to salt" You might not need to fire a single shot yet and not even run out of salts. Stormhat also increases its efficiency a lot. The best way to deal with the siren too. Throw a lot of fireballs at her which drains her power quickly and incinertes her minions.

BioShock Infinite Burial at Sea DLC Note: As a note, shock jockey works the same (all vigors or rather...plasmids do), but there are a couple new mods and aids. Shock jockey costs more and is pretty expensive in the beginning at least. Devil's kiss plasmid works the same though. I haven't finished the new DLC yet, but the salt-cost is the same.

the tips on undertow was awesome! With the combination of undertow, return to sender and charge made the end of hard mode a cake walk.

Even though murder of crows is expensive to use, I do preffer using it instead of shock jockey once it is updated to leave crow traps. That's because in 1999 mode, you are so weak that you cant afford to not know where you are being shot from. So having as many crow traps around warn you of approaching enemies (with their screams). With overkill and ghost pose, killing someone sends an electric chain all around which turn your crows electric and upon their death, their gun becomes an ally.

Great videos. Looking forward to the rest of your Bioshock Infinite playthrough Shock Jockey is greatly useful against Patriots. A rapid-fire combo of SJ and any powerful single-shot weapon (Sniper Rifle, Hand Cannon, Shotgun) will take them down very quickly. I also use the trap version in the last battle with great effect, even in 1999 mode. Devil's Kiss: I use the trap version exclusively. Almost impossible to aim. I avoid the Gear in the graveyard because I waste too many salts.

@JustRazael I know lol, use murder of crows. You'll only get 3 seconds grace but you do 2x damage. Get the flair gun where the mini air docks are (or on the roof across from good times club) & you'll beat him no issues :) @UltimateSuperion thanks :) & yeah ill think about doing that for sure. @everyoneelse thanks for the support!

ohhh that happens when 1) gun itself heats up and those are the special effects or 2) use bloodlust (or gunlust cant remember the name) a piece of gear that powers up weapons. hope that helped :)

How do you do it? Like how do you figure out that things go together like that? I've been watching your vids for this and borderlands and the other game where you fight 1v1 using blur and prestige... and I envy your ability to look at games so analytically and come up with great combinations of things to make your character so great. How do you do it? Any tips on how I could start to get in that mindset? I've subscribed and really enjoy your videos :) You're doing great!

But what I'd say to try to look at things differently is to chart things out literally. That's what I did. Don't be afraid to experiment & try new things even when you don't to. Just got tired of people hating on charge and Return to Sender when the game released. People love charge now though lol.

@xmattattack84x -_-" comment cut off. Anyways, it will take a bit of time, but you'll get to them. Just save your money & keep possessing machines to get extra money! And weapons, I like the carbine, pistol, sniper, shotty, & volley gun best. I pretty much use what's available & find the game more organic that way. They took away health/mana hoarding & multiple weps to make things more dynamic. It's debatable if people like it, but you know how it is.

@Jamonie Jones heyy thanks soo much! And to be honest, I've always kind of liked knowing the ins & outs of things and telling others how to do it. I was hanging on the bioshock forums everyday for a while after infinite dropped so I picked up a LOT there. And of course I came up with stuff myself that people either hadn't known or were just finding out! I'd say the easiest thing to do is literally chart things out. I crosscharted vigors on paper and wrote down different things i thought they could do and tried to mess with them. Getting in the mindset? Hmmm, I'd say just force yourself to use different things than you normally would. The first 2 or 3 times try to play the way YOU want, thennn use other things. Like I didn't like Undertow at ALL, but after I used it, I couldn't not use it. Try to swag on stuff and look cool instead of just using stuff normally & dont be afraid to experiment.

@finallyanime What weapon combination do you think is the best or do you just use everything depending on the situation since usually half the weapons are available....I upgraded the pistol and machine gun fully but then decided I liked the pistol/hand cannon combo for range and cqc....I heard the repeater was the best but unless Im doing something wrong I dont agree...Your vigor tips have helped me tons...for some reason I was better at the first bioshock than this one

oh i see. It's easy, just goto Play Game > Chapter Select & you pick where you wanna go. You have to use WASD / Arrow keys though because for some reason the scroll wheel doesn't work. On console, it might be the D-Pad I'm assuming.

why you didnt do a guide of 1999? using this tips, it would be really helpfull I think Devils Kiss is not that bad, normaly when I use Bucking Bronco or Murder of Crows then inmediately after I put a Devils Kiss trap to destroy entire enemy armies.

The first bioshock though fun had static combat situations for the most part. Not as varied as infinite. Electrobolt + crossbow could take care of anything :/ so dont worry, same here man

How do you get so much gold? Like you had about 3 thousand or 2 thousand. The most I've gotten is about 1500 or probably more but not 2 thousand and I beat the game so I'm wondering how so if I ever play the game again I can use the gold to upgrade.

I rented this recently and I just noticed while watching your vid that the machines with vigor upgrades only have 2 upgrades and I rarely see them and on yours, you had a menu with SEVERAL options to upgrade all vigors....do you know what the deal is?

I never upgrade all the vigors to the max, I just upgrade like 2 or 3 guns to the max in 1999 (shotgun, hand cannon, sniper rifle). Then I fully upgrade 5 vigors to the max, (Possession, Devil's Kiss, Return to Sender, Undertow, Bucking Bronco). You don't need to max out every single vigor. Don't spend 2000 Silver Eagles of Murder of Crows if you're only going to use twice in the game, this goes with any other vigor. Just loot most everything (you don't need to squeeze every coin out of Columbia) and focus on certain guns and vigors. Me Personally, I focus on the shotgun for close-range combat, and use the hand cannon, sniper rifle, and sometimes the carbine for medium to long range. I use Possession against turrets since they do not have a crit spot and the other enemies are usually strong enough to defeat them before possession wears off, and I also use possession to possess rocket launcher and flak cannon users as they can kill themselves after possession wears off and they kill themselves when it does. Devil's I use to set traps for enemies coming through doorways and the like. Bucking Bronco can be used launch humanoid heavy hitters like crows and firemen, with a couple rounds from a high-powered weapon being enough to kill them. Undertow can stun and damage patriots and knock enemies off Columbia, and can reel snipers and other annoying enemies from long range in. Return to Sender can just be held long enough to recharge your shield in a firefight, and to absorb all the incoming damage from a Handyman as you unload rounds into its heart, or a siren as you unload rounds into her head. Lastly for gear, all the gear I use is randomized (Overkill, Head Master, Quick Handed, Storm, Urgent Care, Blood for salts) so you need to get lucky, but picking up every gear piece can maximize your chances. Lastly, I always max out shields, them salts, and then health for my infusions.
