Back in the days where MTV was Brilliant. The chill out zone - the party zone. They used to take a completely different approach towards music than todays MTV pimp my ride etc GARBAGE. They used to play Biosphere, FSOL, the ORB etc. I miss those days.

That is why the NRK Svisj (purely music) in Norway outcompeted VH1 and MTV in Norway for a few years, but it was a temporary channel project. While the MTV was full of crap and little music, and the litle music there was, was all rubbish american charts for women and teenage girls.

AMAZING TRACK!! I remember listening to this in 1994-5 and found it again yesterday, in an art exhibition of Saraceno. One of his pieces was a short film that had a soundtrack sounding a lot like Biosphere. Check this guy's webpage, both Biosphere and he connect nature and space technology perfectly. I highly recommend checking out the man's art and the philosophy behind it: bin short, nature's forms, like spider webs, are repeated in human technologies as well as in space (galaxies etc).

@weepini You bet your fucking ass they did. Once upon a time, before the invention of the reality show, MTV actually meant "Music Television" and they did in fact play music which was not in the top 10. One could not LIVE without The Chillout Zone, saturdays at 2 a.m.

@BronnikovOleg3 жыл бұрын
@justfuntimedoingnothing84773 жыл бұрын
@justfuntimedoingnothing84773 жыл бұрын
