I love this! More people in the hobby need to see how their favourite species survive in the wild. Too many people obsess over water clarity and parameters. I think it's an unhealthy fixation! Much better to understand how these fish really live, what sort of conditions they can tolerate and thrive in, and how to recognize the signs of happy/active vs. stressed fish.

For me personally it's the high tech, high light, lots of co2 and brightly colored planted tanks. It's good for art and competition, but if I was a fish I wouldn't wanna be living there. Nothing beats biotope tanks when it comes to actually taking care of the fish

❤❤❤ Thank-you for another stunning video!!! ❤️❤❤ This was interesting to see the progression of the drying! I appreciate the time and effort that you put into doing this! Another video that I couldn't stop smiling while watching! I admit being envious of sitting in the water while the fishes investigate! Very wonderful to watch! You did make me laugh, but I need to go back and see what you said. Anyway, again, thank you! ❤❤❤ Edit: It was the great way of discovering if there's a colony of fire ants that made me laugh. I hope they didn't get you too much!

Very well made!!🤗 at around 5:00 the fishes look to me not like the serpae tetra but more like Hyphessobrycon sweglesi - the red phantom. Could that be possible?

Fascinating ... as usual :) Tell me: can any of these fish survive or are they all doomed?

Have you ever come across any of the smaller Acestrorhynchus species? A. Isalineae or Nasutus? Love all your content! Such awesome inspiration for the biotope tank I’m working on now

Beautiful climates of the wild world,,, but more and more frequent droughts and lack of water announce the imminent end caused by too much human interference
