I think I’m the most bipolar person alive. I completely blew up my life in less than a month. I quit my job of 25 years, left my husband of 25 years and kids for a man 20 years younger, and we lost our home - which we built ourselves on 10 acres of redwood forest. All this because I was misdiagnosed with depression and put on Wellbutrin which threw me into a mania like no other. I’m still here, and I’m ok now because I’m properly medicated with Seroquel and lamotrigine, but I still mourn what I lost

Before there's cure, there's treatment. Before someone can develop a way to be authentic, happy and adapted to the world all at once, they unfortunately have to learn to suppress their true nature

Good afternoon, I'm Angela Gandolfo, a student at Universidad de Congreso. I communicate by this means to ask if there is the possibility of sending me by mail the video "Pavlovian studies on absolute an conditioned reflex. 1925", since it seems to me a super interesting video and I would like to use it for an exposition exam about the evolution of behaviorism.

Wish I knew what made him bipolar. He sounds more like he has ADHD to me.
@ifiwsaflowridbearose3 жыл бұрын
You clearly have no idea how mental health works if you think that being bipolar and having ADHD don’t occur at the same time. Most times, they go hand in hand. Along with clinical depression and severe anxiety. I’m bipolar and have ADHD, depression, anxiety and BPD. Mind, you all of this was diagnosed within the last two years, I’m 23. This is around the most common age for people to become aware of the fact they have bipolar disorder.

Hypomania and ADHD can look very similar! The distinguishing factor is that hypomania is episodic, whereas ADHD symtoms tend to be more stable over time. While there may be some variation in how SEVERE the symptoms of ADHD are from week to week (for example, they often worsen before and during menstruation), they are always there to one degree or another, whereas someone with bipolar disorder will only experience symptoms of racing thoughts, pressured speech, boundless energy, etc. during hypomania. A bipolar person may be depressed for years and have no energy, slowed thinking and speech, etc., and then have a period of hypomania for weeks or months. Also, bipolar disorder and ADHD often co-occur, so that makes diagnosis a bit more complicated! Specifically, those with bipolar disorder are likely to also have ADHD; those with ADHD only have a 20% chance of also having bipolar disorder.

Bipolar and adhd have been miss diagnosed as each other. You can also have both at the same time. They are quite similar.

He is clearly manic, at the end he is out of his manic episode reflecting on it. He felt euphoric, felt others were below him, sudden extraversion, crying spells, and sudden weight loss.
