I live a mile from a Great Lake. My property has very sandy soil. Yellow and Paper Birch are in abundance with roots that look like the legs of a spider. Something that you don’t normally see in most of Michigan.

Mine too!! The horse hoof fungus that grows on it is greatly helping my multiple auto-immune disorder symptoms. I make tea from it. Boil cut up mushroom for 20 mins and pour your cup. You can and should reuse your horse hoof fungus mushroom by reboiling it for another 20 mins and continue to do so untin the water turns clear. I do many boils from just one mushroom and i store my reserves in a Mason jar in the fridge. This conk fungus has about 100 benefits and boosts immune system. Never take all of the mushrooms you find from one colony so that animals can benefit from them and also so that they can continue to grow. Rule of thumb is to never take more than a 1/3 of a colony of any one mushroom or plant. I also love drinking birch bark or birch twig tea for pain. Both are helping my pains.

Birch tree with white bark can catch fire easily as can be seen from the off grid program and this can cause damages to forest (California) and homes blown in by strong winds, if this issue is not addressed, then don't complain about fire and homes being burned down?

What are you talking about, you want to get rid of the birch tree? Getting rid of people might be a more reasonable solution, but both would be flawed.
