Bird Home Tour

My birdies play area as of January 2020. They occupy my loft space with me and are cage free. People may think, "How can you work with your loud birds?" I don't mind their noise at all. They've been my constant drawing companion ever since I got Tony five years ago, so I'm used to it by now.
Where did you get your manzanita branches?
The manzanita branches are from my hiking trips. I collected these broken branches and had to scrub em clean and leave it out in the sun to dry. The bigger branches were actually cut down with permission at an Inn I was staying at. They were nice enough to give it to us, and we weren't the first to ask to take some wood, lol.
Don't they poo everywhere?
I place newspapers in their favorite areas.

Omg so cutee ! I have had my budgies for a little while but they dont trust me yet and im not allowed to take them out of their cage right now . I have a dog so its hard , there cage is big and its hard to carry to the one spot i can try to take them out . I love you comics very much :) UwU

I wish I could make something like that for my two birds as well. We only have a small cage for them and I've been wanting to get something larger. Toys are too expensive and they're often bored... I try to make toys for them, but I rarely have enough time to do it and I haven't found something they like to play with. Most of the toys are make are ignored, but I'm still trying to make more.

@@inciislak8129 Thanks for the advice! Yes, they are budgies. I went out to collect branches yesterday- in terms of cleaning, should boiling them for 10-15 minutes and drying them in the sun be enough? Because we have a lack of toys, we often let them out in one of our rooms. They use this time to chew the lampshades and wooden shutters, but we allow them because we don't want them to be bored. They sometimes even chew on the bricks, but I'm worried that they could get sick from it since it's not bird-safe...
