Bird Hunting in Hunting Sim 2 | Adding 5 New Trophies to the Lodge!

We finally try out bird hunting in hunting sim 2, going after ducks and geese, and I actually enjoyed it quite a lot! In the process, we managed to add 5 new trophies to the lodge as well!

20 years is pretty unlikely for a duck or goose i have a farm the average life on a good clean pasture is probally 5 or 6 years both ducks and geese

I would love COTW to add dogs for flushing and retrieving. Ducks never spook for me, so having a dog flush them, and then retrieve them and other small game that may get lost in the brush would be so cool, and useful!

The other plaque is a rocky mountain big horn sheep. The one you currently have is a desert big horn. Also the both teal are on Pawnee and the marshland. The canada goose is on marshland. The plaques in the gun selection are are for rabbits and hares. Hope that clears up any confusion.

u can shoot effectively about 50 or 60 yards and if u are by water they will fly around and you can shoot them when they fly

The way the sheep work is that one is a bighorn sheep and the other is a desert bighorn. Not entirely sure if there's any difference beyond that.

You were aiming right on him that’s why you miss if there on the ground not flying yet aim a little above their head and when they start flying aim a little in front of where there flying and wait for em to hit your sights and then shoot them.

So 92 meters is about 100 something yards. I dont hunt turkeys but I do A LOT of waterfowl hunting. For me I feel comfortable shooting at ducks around 50 yards away. There are a lot of waterfowl hunters that shoot ducks and geese 75 to about 100 yards and are able to take them down easily. They say that with certain chokes, you could take down ducks and geese well over 75 yards. I haven't tried it because I'm not comfortable shooting that far. My uncle does a lot of turkey hunting and he said you could easily kill a turkey with a shotgun at 92 meters/ 100 yards. It all depends on shot size, shotgun shell and shotgun brands, and the choke you are using.

I actually really enjoy it. It’s not Call of the Wild, and it’s not Classic - it’s a different game, and it doesn’t compare :) I kind of treat it like I treated Big Game Hunter 2004 when I played it. It’s a hunting game that’s fun, and it’s got it’s issues like any game, but it’s fun, it’s different than what I usually play. Btw, now I’m editing this to say that I wasn’t saying that you thought it was COTW or Classic xD just making the point that isn’t not those games and can’t really compare

@@AlbinoRhino1886 it's the exact opposite of classic. You can run until you're 100m away from the animals, the animals behave totally unrealistic and don't have to grid at all for new equipment.
