As always, a wonderful video Trond. I can't stress enough how much of an inspiration you are for the beginner wildlife photographer I am. I wish I was as patient, dedicated (and sometimes lucky) as you are when you shoot all of these animals, but for now I am at least trying! If only Bergen wasn't so damn rainy all the time, it would help getting out more than once every week...

Loved seeing the bluethroat we don't get them where I live lovely bird great images fantastic video thanks. I noticed you seemed to use centre weighted focusing I always use spot focusing for birds should I change I'm using Pentax K3 and Sigma 50-500 Lens.

Very good video. Some lovely images. What I can't figure out is that you wear green clothing, a ghillie blanket, camo netting over your face but you don't cover your hands. They are like waving two flashlights around for wildlife that have much better eyesight than ours.

G'day Trond: Thanks for this great video. I was wondering if you might share your focus techniques in an upcoming video. I ask this as I noticed that at 8:55 you are focused on the feet of the bluethroat. Was this because it is in a similar plane to the head/eyes and at f4 it should still be in focus? Am very curious as this is an area where I really struggle. Cheers, Paul.

Thank you so much Paul! It was so hard to film in the view-finder when taking pictures. So I missed the focus. Normally I aim for the head/eyes.
