Thanks for watching Yasmin. Sadly this was a couple of weeks ago, back home now and back to work. It was a good location to do some photography and didn't require hours in a hide either, Geese, Swans and Ducks are pretty easy subjects to be honest.

Thanks for watching Elizabeth 🙂 The site was great with several lakes and was really nicely maintained. I was really happy with the images so I'm pleased you enjoyed them. Have a great week.

The FZ1000 did a great job, along with the photographer using it of course. My fave was the one at 4:54. I'm looking to head out tomorrow for some bird photography, although it's looking like a wet one, so we'll have to see how it goes!

Thanks Robert, best of luck in the wet weather 👍

Great video Andrew! Looks like a pretty cool place for some R&R. Some really nice shots here, especially rhe mallard sitting on the edge of the waterfall. It amazes me how easy animals do things like that...we wouldn't be so brave or we'd be in for a swim. I really enjoyed reading the back and forth with you and Dave..."I kind of like a trashy seaside resort" made me laugh 😂 Hope you are well, have a great week!

Can't beat the British seaside, neglected and full of character (and usually characters). As for the birds, I was pleased with the images. The Mallard on the waterfall was keeping an eye on me as his ladies were in the pool below. As for falling off stuff I was a Seaham beach the other day shooting film and nearly lost my balance on some wet, seaweed covered rocks, much 'windmilling' with my arms and some deft footwork and I kept upright. It was probably hilarious to watch. Hopefully, nobody got it on camera. The things we do for photography. Have a great week Paul, I hope the autumn colours have arrived.

Beautiful photos Andy 📸 you could do your own calendar 📅 Really loved the duck on the edge of the weir 🦆👍🧸🐻

Thanks for watching Ellie. The duck on the weir was standing over all of his lady ducks and keeping an eye on me, a shame he'd lost his spring plumage.

Really is quite the spot for a whack of varieties...and wonderful to see that the Canadians posed so nicely for you. lol Quite the amazing sunny day too...send some our way. Take great care now...Bruce and Otis

This was last month, Bruce. We're back to the usual grey and miserable weather now 😀 The Canada geese were pretty cooperative but the greylag geese were the divas who wanted their photographs taken, although they wouldn't let you within six feet of them. Have a great week with Otis.

I was quite impressed with how nice that lake looked. Good shooting with that camera, which is very impressive. Keith

Cheers Keith, when it was launched it was marketed as a travel camera for DSLR owners, instead of lugging all those lenses about. It's a weighty beast now compared to most mirrorless cameras. I do like the images I get out of it, the lens is pretty sharp.

Cheers, Dave. Yes, it wasn't bad at all. Dare I say it, less run down than Blackpool. I was quite happy with how the images came out, I do like the lens on this camera, it would have been better with a m4/3 sensor in it but the 1 inch is a step up from the smaller 1/2.3 inch in most bridge cameras.

@@AndrewWaltonPhotography that's exactly how I felt about Skegness when we went to Butlins earlier this year. 'Less run down than Blackpool' sums it up pretty well :)

@@LetsClickPhotography I kind of like a bit of a trashy seaside resort though - I really need to do Benidorm to complete the holy trinity. 😄
