Great video, I got one of these from eBay about 2 years ago, and it is a great meter, I did see a video by BBI , and I think he said some wrong things about using this meter, and made it sound very hard to use and also said that you need both slug's plugged into it to work, that you do not, and as your video shows it is very easy to use, Do you know what the cost of this meter was when it was new ?, I got it for £125 UK pounds, You don't see these very often for sale in the UK, Thanks Dave

I saw that same video and thought I could make it simpler. Thanks for letting me know especially since you have one. I think the two elements that are 10:1 ratio is for reflected CW power and SWR. Also, it can't display accurate readings above 120% of the element rating. Here is what I found as for cost. Product Bird 4391A Wattmeter RF Power Analyst Price $2,522.00 Bird 43 Wattmeter, Thruline $620.00 I got this one off Ebay also and am very pleased with it. I like AM and run a homebrew 3-400Z grounded grid, plate modulated (that I used in this video) and I thought it would be nice to have one instrument that gave me CW power, PEP power and % modulation and this seems to do the job very well. Without reading thru the manual, I did not know how to use the KW level slugs so I thought I would make the video and keep that as simple as I could.
