Hello! how old is Cosmo? And what’s happening with his feathers? I ask this because an old man wants I buy his grey yaco red tail, hechas 12 years old, and has been all years alone in his little cage. The parrot had feather pecking for stress. The poor parrot has the feathers as Cosmo has, but his eyes are full of sadness, I have panick to take him and watch he is not changing and he is not happy with me and my two dogs. What I should do?

I'm not a parrot owner so I'm definitely no expert. I think lots of conversation with sweet talking and holding and cuddling with love might be a good start. As much attention and time together while you go about your day would help him get to know you. Maybe a vet visit to assure good health. Lots of genuine Love and touching. 12 years is young for a parrot so you'll have lots of time to bond together. Hopefully someone with expert knowledge will see your comment and have answers for your concerns. You and your animal family are in my prayers. I wish you all the best. ❤❤❤❤❤
