I get scared of listening to this song because this song exactly matches how I've been living my life these days. Moving forward while fearing everything.. people's judgments, uncertainties, the belief that I won't ever be good enough for anything, it is all so scary. As sad and pessimistic as it sounds, on some days I think it'd be just better to spend my entire life in my little birdcage. At least it's familiar, at least it is secure. But I feel comforted that this song understands me, that Jacob understands me and I am not alone.

Nah, I definitely don't think that he "doesn't like" where he is now. He's actually talked about how he has no idea what he'd be doing if he didn't go this path & that he's grateful that he decided to try it out quite a few times before. We can also see how much love he has for music (as well as dancing, of course, he's been getting even more confident & passionate in it though) & how he likes to share his work with us, just like this. One more thing is that I think that this is really what most idols feel inside 'cause dang it takes so much... Probably it's just that he's one of the idols who are open about it with their fans. Btw, ThreeRang ( aka English line) are all pretty open about how they miss being with their families tbh. Of course every great thing needs sacrifices in order to fulfill them & I'm glad he's not just tryna be or pretending to be perfectly alright all the time & that he's got his second family by his side.

(just leaving this here) Though everything's a mess and I felt how reality always slaps me the moment I wake up. I always wish I'd get back to the times that math is only the basic arithmetic operations and after school, we can still play until the time our school bus almost left me because I was still in the playground. However, If I didn't get older I would meet someone like Jacob that helps me stabilize my moods... Crying's been my way to release pent-up stress and I just couldn't do it easily but bc of Cobie, I can cry freely without hurting that much..
