I feel like Tommy Wiseau gets it at the very least. He seems to at least know that it's a bad film, but not want to say it out loud so he can at least feel like he contributed something to the world, and to an extent he did. It is immensely entertaining, but this guy, James Nguyen actually seriously has convinced himself that he has made a great movie.

My brain is shutting down. I can't process the level of ridiculousness this man demonstrates. He legitimately thinks his films are good. A serious story? The audience enjoyed it? A GOOD CASTING? WTF. DID YOU NOT SEE HOW BAD THE ACTOR PLAYING THE PROTAGONIST WAS? The characters were flatter than a sheet of paper! And for Christ's sake, humour? The only "humour" in this movie is the fact that it is so fundamentally bad that it made me laugh (and cry inside). The dialogue is literally awful and creates situations and conversations that would never happen in real life. And, worst of all, the CGI. Not only is it the worst CGI I have ever seen; IT LOOKS LIKE A FREAKING VIDEO GAME. I don't even... I mean I wouldn't be this mad if it were an old movie from like the 1980s. But 2010? A movie like this in 2010? Wow. Don't get me wrong, I respect this man (even though it may not seem like it, I do), however I just cannot believe that he thinks that such an abomination of a film was a hit. I had to get it out of my system.
