My little buddy is a mostly outdoor cat that needs to stay inside a little while for health reasons. These videos and sounds are really helping make him feel more at ease & like he's still in his natural environment. Especially keeps him company while I'm at work. I used to have indoor/outdoor cats. But I got tired of them killing birds b baby bunnies, etc and bringing them to my front door. I also read that the average life span of anoutdor cat is 2-5 yrs! I now have a healthy 14 yr old Maine Coone who has Never been an outside cat and backs away when the front door is open (dont think she misses it, ESP since she has this show and can se n hear all the birds she wants!)😅

@@victoriap4335 I have a rescue kitten, now more than a year old, grew up outdoors, even after i got her. She had a forested yard. Now, where I live, she is required to be on a leash. She practically demands that I open the window, even on hot or cold days. I give her a chance and soon close the window. Mistake, she now wakes me up a little before First light to open the window. It's cold, today. I did not comply. She jabbed me in the back, so I stayed in bed a little longer😆 She watches for the lizard, but the lizard sleeps when it's cold. We do walk outside on a leash, but I am assailed by Mosquitos, no matter what brand of repellent I use, other than with Deet. We walk to a forest and meadow. Usually, I am miserable, but I love getting out after a rain, when the forest smells wonderful. In the house, I struggle to keep her happy. She is so bored, even with 2 cat trees, many toys.
