Awww, he's so happy and cute! My senior budgie just passed away 3 months ago, and I'll be getting a baby budgie soon. But they leave such a huge hole when they leave us. My budgie boy was 11 years old, talked, played ball, and also loved giving kisses. Budgies are so underrated and most people have no idea how sweet and smart they are.

I’m so sorry you lost your budgie. It’s a tremendous loss. To your point, anyone who has come to my home is amazed that birds interact and have personalities. I had an African Gray, and they are extraordinarily gifted. But my budgies have been every bit as smart and loving. On this playlist you'll see Scooter-yellow, black and green-very smart and loving. She passed away in late December, 2010. It took many years before I could even consider getting another bird. This guy is a smart little bruit. I wish you and your new member of the family many years of joy. Thanks for commenting.
