BIRDS OF PREY / OWLS / RAPTORS / MEERKATS DISPLAYS - STONHAM BARNS OWL SANCTUARY - SUFFOLK UK - 2017

spent a very relaxing day with my son karl and my better half at the Suffolk owl sanctuary / birds of prey centre in stonham barns - stonham aspal in Suffolk IP14 6AT,
the meerkats were more interested in the buzzard thermaling high above them than the fifty people watching them at feeding time, and the birds and owls (over 80 of them) are amazing to watch so close up in the displays - they have three flying displays and two meet the meerkat displays in each day,
so if your lost for something to do then check out their website for dates and times and pop along for a very entertaining day out,
there is also a play park for the children to burn themselves out in,
ps - they also have a shopping boulevard with craft and gift shops etc for your better halves to look around !

Many thanks for posting this! An excellent way to spend a day out, I thought the whole video was really well structured, with not a seam in sight, this must have taken a lot of editing, with a running comentary it must be very difficult to do.

thanks French, yes its a nightmare editing when someones commentating so I didn't bother with the commentary and it just came out that way, this is just a snippet from around 2hr filming that day, I might put the whole individual flights online when I get some free time I guess - pete,
