I met her once after a concert she was opening for, she is such a sweet girl! She seemed genuinely surprised when I told her we came there just for her. My uncle had passed away a day or two before and I started tearing up when I told her I almost didn't come and she gave me a big hug. She is such a wonderful, humble person.

Why some of you say she doesn't have personality? Because she doesn't act weird or dresses strange to catch attention from others? She is just being her, she is being natural... which is what makes her beautiful and actually different. I think most of the idiots who aren't able to see it, should open their eyes and realise that unlike other dumb and famous people, she does have a personality because she doesn't need to be fake to gain fans or for people to admire her.

I'm older (lol) and was brought up on a different musical Generation . Nowadays the majority of female pop stars tend to be similar in the way they project themselves eg showing a lot of flesh and being "down with the kids " etc Of course it is usual to use the auto cue. I don't think Birdy needs to do the latter and she definitely doesn't do the former yet.

it's so fascinating to me that when she just talks and sits there, she seems just like a 'normal person', but when she sings, her voice becomes this incredible beautiful 'instrument' that i so authentic and pure. she's one of my favourite artists at the moment! :)

In England, college isn't like how it is in America. Students in England finish mandatory education at the age of 16. And then they (preferably) go to college, which is something like a two-year course to get ready for University exams. Then they start University at the age of 18, so basically, what is known as 'college' in America is 'University' in England and college is a whole different thing. The education system in England is really different haha😅. What I'm trying to say is that it's a normal thing in England for people to go to college at 17, simply because that's how it's supposed to be.
