Just to clarify a few things: this song is among others for Birdy’s new EP called “Piano Sketches”. Over the next few weeks / months, she will release the songs of this EP, as a build up to the release of her new album start of 2021. The songs of the EP will be piano-based, as the title suggests. To quote Birdy: “I’ve spent the last few years recording a new album coming next year which I’m super-excited to share. I wrote a load of music I’m so proud of that might not normally have seen the light of day -I’ll be releasing the tracks stripped back over the coming months ahead of the album.” So, as I understand it, the stripped back songs won’t be on the new album to be released start of 2021. They will be on the new EP called “Piano Sketches” released before that. A lot to look forward to! :)

I don't know how it is, but this song exactly describes what i feel in relationship with my girlfriend and it appeared first on my youtube when i sat alone with laptop after work.
