I watched this w/my kids my son was 10, (2004) my daughter was 17.. we watched the movie every year... She is now 32 and he is 25, both out of the house and I watch it every Christmas without them.. I miss them so much and watch it now at 53.. I wish they would come and visit at Xmas, they both have busy lives and every Christmas I watch it, I cry b/c it reminds me of them. I would do anything if only to watch it again w/them.. Enjoy your children and spend every minute with them b/c time flies and then they leave..

Roger Gagnon She's been here in Holland quite a few times, and I've been lucky enough to witness one of her ‘shows'. That's between brackets, because don't expect a real show. It's all about the singing and the music for her, no long stories in between songs and no flashy stuff that blinds you more than anything else. When I was young I searched for lyrics I could identify with. The older I grow I search for timeless lyrics and harmonies. Like what you would call a classic art painting or Horaz saying 'ut pictura poesis'. When you put sand in front of a speaker it forms certain patterns depending on the frequency. And so is life - different patterns. It is truly remarkable that birdy achieved this timeless and classical style at such a young age. You really are a gift and wonderful to listen to.
