Nice and beautiful places. Bejan pala hoisere. Sisters .👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you sister for telling us about Birisiri and Komila Rani. The story of Komila Rani who went down to the bottom of the pond (dighi) so that water come out to fill the dighi is somehow same as that of the story of "Chimiti" which is one of the dighi dug by Rengtha Raja of Garos situated at Nogorpara, South West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. According to oral tradition, that Chimiti dighi is also said to be dry but after the beloved concuvine of Rengtha Raja went down to the bottom of the dighi, water gradually came up and filled the pond brimful. May be there's a relation between the story of Komila Rani at Biisiri and Chimiti dighi at Nogorpara, Garo Hills. Such beautiful history of the Garos of being the "Rulers" of particular places, which was handed down to us from generation to generation only through orally, is now being forgetful by new generations due to no valid records. Please bring more of such interesting story of the past about the Garos of Bangladesh, thank you.
