I’m not a professional but as a long time fan of the brand, I’ve noticed that Hermès uses two kinds of croc (not including alligator) leathers: Niloticus, indicated by a two dots symbol, and Porusus, indicated by a ^ symbol. The one in my video is a three dots symbol, indicating a very rare type of Mexican crocodile ie Moreletii. I had literally never heard of this before, and neither had my H Fairy (and her colleagues). Apparently this is the first one they’ve seen in 26 years of working at Hermès!
