Went from stock Good year dp v1 to Continental CC6 for my car. Observed major differences in braking distance from high speed. Less noise, speed breakers and roam bumps are lot softer. Cornering is very smooth. Worth the upgrade.

You could have asked him how often we should change tyres even if tyres are good. To my knowledge every 4 years one need to change because the tyres will become hard and one will not have the comfort while travelling.

We have upsized our own Swift tyres last year after a long research. Upgrade includes: Premium alloys : MOMO Massimo Concave Tyres : Yokohama BluEarth GT (195/60 R15) Michelin was my first preference, but due to stock unavailability I have picked BluEarth GT for its soft compound & performance features. Its unknown fact is, BluEarth series are of environment friendly tyres. Yokohama uses orange oil for its rubber processing rather than the petroleum oil. Cornering stability at higher speeds & lesser tyre noise (almost zero tyre noise on very good roads) are the positives.

bro i used yokohoma but one disadvantage is thay if puncture happened and not done perfectley with in next month the tyre is out even if you put patch on that but comfort vise its equal to michiline and conti

Bro variations epdi calculate pananum nu solren. Ipo example, 205/55/R16 irukunu vechukonga. Neenga idhula irundhu upsize pananum na, alloys change pananum. Ipo ovoru car kum maximum upsize limit iruku. But for safety reasons, neenga 1 Inch mattum extra poradhu nalladhu, apodha sidewall damage agadhu. Ipo neenga upsize pandringa na, enaku therinchu 225/50/R17 varaikum neraya options iruku. Neenga indha size Kula choose panalam. Illa shop la keta inom neraya suggestions solluvanga. 205, 215, 225 indha madri numbers adhigam agum podhu, 60, 55, 50 nu size kammi aganum. Apodha tyre fit pana mudiyum, sidewall damage agama irukum. Total size la R16, R17 madri pogum podhu indha numbers neraya change agum.

Good review!! Basic information regarding tread wear,manufacture details etc. Is good. With regard to the upsizing there's a ready reckoner. If I'm correct 2% is the max upsizing. Also the difference in odo is noticeable.

Hello Brother, I had the same question, and this is what I got as an answer from an expert. General opinion will be if you don't have a budget issue you must replace it as the rubber life degrades year on year even it is not used at all. But if you still want to use it, please don't mix it with the remaining tyers on road for regular use, as it is not advisable and must be avoided. You can just use/run with it for few KMs until you get your punctured tyer fixed and have it always as stepney!!! (I am doing the same for my Ford Fiesta with Good year)
