Yes it wiil! i use to go up the tower when i was younger the first steps are gone up to about head level but thair was a old fence to climb up to get up, i think its boarded up now tho the tower . We will see when you get thair though👍

I worked in Cornwall road smethwick😎…..and lived in Smethwick from birth till I was 15….nice to see this vid as I used the canal to go to school up at the baggies ground…Sandwell sec mod…

I'm from Smethwick and love the canals. My Grandad worked at Chance Glass for a while, and my uncle worked at Averys in the 70s

Nice canals bud , can imagine the chances glass works was interesting to work for . Avery is another cool place I've seen quiet alot of scales and weighbridges for this company

I spent a lot of my lockdown cycling that bit of the canal. Great to see it again, need to go back soon. When I was an apprentice in the print trade we did work for Avery and GKN which was a massive concern around Smethwick at the time. My Brooks bike saddle are made in Downing St so when you film the next bit make sure you pop over and film the sign 😂
