Birmingham is crying out for the Curzon Station, Martineau Galleries, Smithfield, and Paradise Circus developments to be completed. It is a lovely city that was treated so poorly post war. The next 10 years will truly change it. Keep going Brum.

Am not a big fan of Birmingham but it’s starting to look like central London now

No it isn't. Birmingham looks nothing like central London. If you want a London comparison, look no further than great northern rival city Manchester as of now - the second city in status (but not population), as its centre has doubled in size and there are more than 50 giant skyscrapers crowding out the city centre (and also neighbouring Salford). The sheer amount of huge building redevelopment going on there puts Birmingham in the shade. I am not joking when I say that you see the skyline of Manchester changing literally every other month as yet another new skyscraper goes up. Birmingham's skyline might be very different now to what it was in the 60s, 70s and 80s, but it changes more subtly (with far fewer tall towers dominating the cityscape) than the alarming rate at which Manchester's has done in the last 15 years alone.

@@busterabcat Manchester IS NOT second City in Status mate only in Mancunian peoples dreams as that position only goes on the size of a City in it's area and Population as per the UK Government, ie Birmingham has the largest City Council in the UK, it is 150 miles sq in area and has population of over 1.5 million citizens, The City of Manchester is in 8th official government placing only being 50 sq miles in size and a population of only 580,000 citizens. Birmingham has been the second largest City for over to odd years taking the title off Bristol, and where as Birmingham has plenty of land on the North East side on the Sutton Coldfield side to build houses on green land the City of Manchester is hemmed in. Concerning the redevelopment of Birmingham compared to Manchester I think you need to come and see Birmingham up close as comparing Cities by these videos doe not work and there are plenty of High rise buildings in Birmingham and more being constructed and the City Center of Birmingham has been totally rebuilt and I know Manchester people think that it is number 2, rather tan guessing look at the truth of what the Governments position is and that is Birmingham is easily number 2 full stop.

@@busterabcat Sorry Manchester does not have second City status, where did you ever get that from as it only the 6th largest City in the UK. Birmingham is the Second City of the UK both in size of Population, Area and size of the City Council and is recognised as the Second City by the UK Government. You go on about Birmingham's Sky line, come to Birmingham and have a look it is more stunning in real life than Manchester a video does not show this, typical Mancunian exaggerating things the City of Manchester only has a population size of between 560 & 580,000 citizens and the City of Manchester has only an area of 58sq miles where as the City of Birmingham has a population of over 1.5 million Citizens, the largest City Council in the UK and an area of 150 Sq miles that is why Birmingham is the Second City and not the City of Manchester which only ranks 6th in the table, even Liverpool and Bristol are bigger than Manchester and the position only goes on the Cities population size and Birmingham is recognised as the Second City by the UK Government, so how do you work your idea out that Manchester is number 2.
