Class 350 is a great train. It maybe look like it’s normal commute train. But the maximum speed nearly reached 200km/h speed.

Is there a PSR on this line. Could the train go any slower?. Why a DMU under the wires?

because towards Shrewsbury, Aberystwrth/Pwhelli and Holyhead aren't electrified so they must have a DMU. Particularly some routes are prone to flooding or is close to a sea of some kind meaning it is not practical to do so. You can argue now have bi mode which the Class 799s are but particularly they have to have in cab signalling ETCS which also makes it harder. The class 158's (which this was filmed from) will go and replaced by Class 197's based on the WMR Class 196 units. I hope it helps.

and the line speed is up to 100mph from Adderley park (the first station we pass) however out of New st on all lines in 10mph through the station and then up to 30 - 50mph depending on which line your on, moreover because the camera is zoomed in it makes it seem a lot slower than it is in real life.
