Hopefully an all day half hourly Bristol service will be reintroduced, perhaps when Avanti replace their Voyagers so all XC services can be at least 8 carriages. It would also be good for the second Bristol to stop at Worcestershire Parkway as the Cardiff that stops there now is often overcrowded as well as providing better connectivity for Worcestershire to the south and north west without a change in Birmingham.

I hope this route can have it's time reduced in the future as Birmingham to Bristol should only be just over an hour when compared to similar distance routes, especially as once past Kings Norton this route is fairly straight so some speed improvements should be relatively easy although ideally this route would be electrified and a new semi fast service could be introduced calling at University, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire Parkway, Cheltenham Spa, Gloucester, Bristol Parkway and Filton Abbey Wood.

Crosscountry to retain the Class 220 and Class 221 Voyagers. And to inherit the Class 221 from Avanti West Coast to add more extra capacity on long distance cross-country services.
